SDVOSB

Executive Order 13360 directs all federal agencies to help provide more opportunities in contracting for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has a role in both meeting and exceeding the three percent procurement goal for SDVOSBs as well as helping other agencies reach their goal. Expanding business opportunities is but one important way to honor the men and women who, throughout history, have served proudly and courageously in our Armed Forces, placing their personal safety and ambitions second to protecting our country, preserving American ideals, and fighting the enemies of freedom. GSA offers the following solutions for federal agencies to identify and use the products and services of SDVOSBs:
  • GSA Advantage. Look for the “dv” business indicator code to find SDVOSBs such as AVeT, Inc.
  • Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This tool allows agencies to search for and find out more about SDVOSBs, including their geographic location.
  • VetBiz Vendor Information Pages. The Department of Veterans Affairs established VetBiz to provide for simple searches to find SDVOSBs.

AVeT, Inc. is proud to be counted among the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. We are likewise honored to be partnered with GSA, the Department of Defense, the Defense Logistics Agency, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Small Business Administration to ensure SDVOSBs are included in contracting opportunities.
